We want you to love your story. If something goes wrong before it begins, we'll make it right.

How It Works

Silicon Shepherd uses a pay-per-arc model. You purchase one complete 30-chapter story for a single upfront payment. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no automatic renewals.

When you purchase an arc, your complete 30-chapter story is generated immediately — before the first chapter is delivered. This means our costs are incurred at the point of purchase, which shapes our refund policy below.

Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided your first chapter has not yet been delivered.

Once your first chapter has been delivered, the story is in active use and refunds are no longer available as standard. This reflects the fact that your complete story has already been generated and stored on your behalf.

Exceptions

Outside the standard window, we will issue a refund if: your story failed to generate due to a technical fault on our side, or you were charged in error. Contact us and we'll resolve it promptly.

How Refunds Are Processed

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We process refund requests within 3 business days of receiving them.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks raised without prior contact may result in account suspension. We always prefer to resolve issues directly and quickly.
